Lunchtime Supervisor First Aid

This 2 or 2.5 hour session is designed to give lunchtime cover staff basic first aid skills; they are encouraged to call on a first aider whenever unsure or for more major needs. Topics commonly include choking, bumps to heads, burns (hot custard and gravy!) and medical issues e.g. asthma. Medical conditions required is set by the school according to need. A full course content and attendance documentation is provided to the school for their training file.

Anaphylaxis Training

The training course includes triggers, cross contamination issues, recognition or a reaction, first aid treatment and emergency planning.
